Hush Puppies
1-1/3 cups Sweet Miracle Maize
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup finely minced onion (optional)
Mix above ingredients. Drop from tablespoon into 360° deep fryer for 3 minutes. Fry crisp and brown. Serve with fish, ham, pork chops, or bacon and eggs.
Makes 10 hush puppies.
