Orange-Sauced Baked Bananas
6 medium green-tipped bananas, peeled
1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
1/4 cup Fryin' Magic
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
Dash cinnamon
3/4 cup boiling water
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 teaspoon grated orange peel
1/4 cup orange juice
1. Coat bananas with melted butter, then Fryin' Magic. Put into a buttered 3-quart baking dish.
2. Mix sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon in a saucepan. Stir in boiling water. Bring to boil, stirring constantly; boil 1 minute.
3. Remove from heat. Add butter, orange peel, and orange juice; stir until blended. Pour sauce over bananas.
4. Bake at 375°F 15 to 20 minutes, or until bananas are tender; baste once.
