Fried Cheese
1/2 pound cheddar or Colby cheese
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup Fryin' Magic
1/4 cup fine, dry bread crumbs
Vegetable oil for deep frying
. Cut cheese into 3/4-inch cubes. Dip in beaten eggs, then coat with a mixture of Fryin' Magic and crumbs. Repeat dipping and coating.
2. Fill a deep fryer about half full with oil. Heat to 365 degrees F.
3. Fry coated cheese cubes a layer at a time in heated oil about 1-1/2 minutes, or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
YIELD: about 32 cubes
